Don Balon are outdoing themselves, which is no easy task, on Eden Hazard at the moment.

Their latest article claims Chelsea have put a price on the player for a winter transfer, and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez ‘knows it’.

The figure is said to be €150m, which seems pretty cheap considering Hazard’s start to the season for Chelsea. But, it’s conceivable a lower price could be down to contract situation.

Hazard’s current deal ends in June 2020, a situation which will start to put pressure on the English club, and Perez has already managed to get Thibaut Courtois relatively cheap thanks to an expiring Chelsea contract.

Maurizio Sarri’s club are said to be aware Hazard could force his way out, especially if it’s Real Madrid making an approach.

Don Balon then claim Real Madrid’s dressing room are concerned because such a big January move would suggest they’re failing. Perez wouldn’t care less about that.

In a separate article, the same website claims Perez has five targets in the Premier League, and doesn’t name Hazard as one of them.

And just yesterday, Monday October 1st, they claimed that Perez’s big target isn’t Hazard or others recently linked, but rather Harry Kane… despite them ruling out the Tottenham player on numerous occasions.
