The striker has been given just 19 minutes of action this season and that came in the Foxes’ 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa in October.
Slimani’s current deal runs down at the end of this season, and his situation at the King Power is attracting interest from the Ligue 1 side.

The Algeria international is a target for the French club as he has already played under their manager Claude Puel, at Leicester.
The Leicester City man earns €380,000 gross per month, which is a hindrance for Puel’s side.
Saint-Étienne need to balance their books and even if they do, they could afford a salary of around €1-1.5m (most likely per year) to ‘recruit in January’.
