Udinese would be willing to sell defender Thomas Kristensen this month if Tottenham or Leicester City make moves for him.

That’s according to Messaggero Veneto, who say both sides have shown an interest in the 22-year-old in this window.

A report in England named Leicester and Tottenham as suitors for the Danish centre-back this week, claiming that both had their eye on the Udinese defender alongside Bayer Leverkusen.

Messaggero Veneto back this up, reporting that Leicester want Kristensen while Tottenham and Leverkusen are ‘also interested’ in him.

They say that Leicester have made ‘more than one enquiry’ for the player up to this point, but do not say whether Tottenham or Leverkusen have done the same.

Udinese, for their part, value the defender at €16.5m and ‘would not oppose’ a transfer in the January transfer window should it be offered to them. Whether Leicester, Tottenham or Leverkusen are willing to match their demands is not yet clear.

That figure would certainly not be a difficult one for Premier League sides to match, although the Foxes finances are tight with them believed to be facing potential PSR issues in the near future.

Either way, their interest is now established, and it seems Udinese are more than happy to do business.
