PSV Eindhoven are working in the final details of Tyrell Malacia’s loan move from Manchester United.
That’s according to journalist Rik Elfrink, who reports that the Dutch side needs to ‘complete some things’ with Manchester United this afternoon before the deal can be completed.
According to his information, the defender underwent a medical at the Dutch club yesterday and today and the two sides are now working hard to finalise the move. The transfer window closes in the Netherlands this evening.
Malacia has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford throughout January after failing to feature much under Ruben Amorim. He has now fallen further down the pecking order after the arrival of Patrick Dorgu.
He’s seeking a club where he can get regular playing time as he continues his return from a knee injury that saw him spend 500 days out of action.
PSV Eindhoven are willing to offer him that as they seek to bolster their squad before the window shuts but Elfrink reports they still need to work on the final details with Manchester United.
That is being done this afternoon, and with a medical completed yesterday and again today, it is now a race to finalise matters before tonight’s deadline.
