Arthur to Arsenal is a story which has built over the past week, with claims coming from England, Italy and Brazil about the potential transfer.
It was made clear pretty early on that Arthur would be keen on a move to the Premier League club, and therefore it was just a case of finding an agreement between Arsenal and Juventus.
The Turin club aren’t against the general idea of the player leaving, in a move which would start off as a loan, but they want someone bringing in to take his place in the squad.
Calciomercato report Juventus are working to bring a signing in so they can then give the ‘green light’ to Arthur’s move to the Gunners.
They’ve tried getting Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea but haven’t had any luck in that regard.
Journalist Niccolò Ceccarini, speaking to Torino Top News, has again made clear Arthur’s desire for a move to the London club this month: “Arthur is definitely an outgoing player. On him is Arsenal and the player has already said yes to the destination.”
“Juve, however, does not make him leave if they do not find a replacement first. If he were to leave, the solution would be that of the loan until the end of the championship.”
