Tottenham chief Fabio Paratici will hold talks with AC Milan today over a deal for defender Japhet Tanganga.
That’s according to journalist Claudio Raimondi, who says today could prove to be decisive in his potential move to Milan.
Tanganga has been linked with a move to AC Milan over the last few weeks, with it believed Tottenham are happy to let him go this summer after their summer rebuild under Antonio Conte.
Talks have been steadily progressing over a deal, and it was reported yesterday that a meeting between the two clubs was scheduled to work out an agreement.
That was followed by further claims of a meeting being planned, with a potential €17m deal in the pipeline.
Several sources have indicated that a meeting is planned for some time this week, and Raimondi says they are actually set to take place today as the potential transfer picks up pace.
“Today decisive contact between AC Milan and Tottenham for Tanganga,” Milan News report him saying to Sport Mediaset.
“This afternoon, there will be a meeting or telephone contact with Fabio Paratici.
“Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will talk to the Tottenham manager to ask for the English defender.
“AC Milan would like him on loan with the right of redemption while Spurs, we understand, want to include the obligation of redemption.”
