Already wanted by Fenerbahçe in the summer when he returned from his loan at Schalke 04, Sead Kolasinac is going to transfer to Turkey in January.
That’s according to Yeni Asir, who state the Süper Lig side ‘will sign the 28-year-old’ in the upcoming transfer window, because ‘they are insistent this time’.
This comes after their manager, Vitor Pereira, made it clear that ‘if the Bosnian star was transferred, the left-wing problem would be eliminated in the 3-4-2-1 system’.
That’s why those in charge of transfers ‘will step in in January without waiting’ for the Arsenal man’s contract to expire, but the Turkish side ‘don’t want to pay a fee to the English team’.
This shouldn’t be a problem, however, as the article also suggests the Gunners ‘would’t have any difficulties in the transfer’ and that Kolasinac ‘wants to come’ to Fenerbahçe.
Only time will tell if this comes to fruition, but with the Bosnia international only featuring twice this season under Mikel Arteta, once in the EFL Cup and the other in the Premier League, it’s fair to say a move elsewhere would be best for all parties at this stage.
