The transfer window might be over, but Chelsea aren’t seemingly done just yet on the market, making moves after the deadline has passed.

This comes from RMC Sport in France, who explain Paris FC ‘will sell’ their young goalkeeper to the Blues.

His name is Sami Tlemcani, who has been a target for numerous English clubs, according to their journalist Loïc Tanzi, as he explained on Twitter the small club have bene ‘resisting’ offers from this side of the Channel for ‘a long time’.

He adds the young Frenchman’s departure for Stamford Bridge ‘is proof the new youth development strategy from Paris FC is starting to bear fruit’.

The Twitter account Espoirs du Foot also have some information on the deal, explaining Tlemcani had an offer from Paris FC of a first professional contract, which he ‘declined’ to sign for the London club.

Regardless of what happens, he won’t be joining the first team where Frank Lampard already signed Edouard Mendy to provide added competition to Kepa Arrizabalaga.
