Torino defender Gleison Bremer continues to be linked to the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, even when the stories aren’t necessarily about him.
Outlet Pianeta Milan today features a story on Mattia Caldara. Following his loan at Venezia, he’s set to return to the Rossoneri, who plan to negotiate him in the summer.
One of the potential destinations for the Italian is Torino, who are expected to lose Bremer in this transfer window, and that’s where the English clubs come in.
Caldara would be an option to replace him, especially since they will have made a pretty buck from his sale should the €25m exit take place.
Even though Manchester United and Tottenham have frequently been linked to the Torino star, there’s no information on how they stand in the race, as this is a battle which should definitely turn into a summer auction for Bremer.
This means the Red Devils and Spurs could even need to go higher than €25m suggested, but we’ll have to wait and see about that.
