Fotomac report Leeds United are again interested in signing Jeremain Lens from Besiktas.

The Turkish newspaper claims the Besiktas board will make a final decision over the future of the Dutch winger with the Super Lig side, and they’re hoping to convince him to take a pay cut.

According to Fotomac, if Lens doesn’t agree to a decrease in his salary then Besiktas will look to sell him to Leeds United.

It’s reported Leeds were interested in signing the former Sunderland player during the last window and Besiktas will allow him to leave on the cheap if the Championship side make an official offer.

With three games remaining in the Championship, Marcelo Bielsa’s side are currently behind Sheffield United on goal difference and they are still hoping to get automatic promotion to the Premier League.

Lens has played 31 games for Besiktas this season, scoring 5 goals. He is under contract at the Turkish club until June 2022.
