Earlier today, we covered a bit of news from France regarding Milan’s interest in Newcastle United’s Allan Saint-Maximin.
This came from journalist Santi Aouna, who took to Twitter to warn his followers that he had some information about the Magpies star.
He said Milan were very interested in the winger, who hasn’t played as much of late for Newcastle following two injuries, and that they could make a move in the future of a loan with an option to buy.
Aouna promised more information would follow on Foot Mercato’s website, and that has now been released, providing a bit more detail into Milan’s plans.
It’s stated that the Serie A side will ‘go on the attack’ an ‘should make an offer in the next 48 hours’, with it once again suggested it will ‘likely be a loan with an option to buy’.
As we mused towards the end of the first article, it remains to be seen whether this is something that will convince Newcastle, who are also trying to get their hands on Everton’s Anthony Gordon.
With their efforts to sign Nicolo Zaniolo smacking into a Roma’s brick wall, this is why they have had the idea of ‘digging a new way’, with this one ‘leading to Saint-Maximin’.
