Getafe want to sign AFC Bournemouth’s Enes Ünal to improve their attack in the second half of this season.
That’s according to Estadio Deportivo, who state the La Liga side ‘activate the signing’ of the striker in the winter market.
Ünal initially joined Bournemouth on loan from Getafe in January and his stay was made permanent in the summer.
The Spanish club and Real Valladolid have scored the least number [10] of goals in the league this season.
Taking this into account, Getafe manager José Bordalás wants his side to strengthen the strike force in the next window and the focus is on the 27-year-old.
The Turkey international was on the sidelines for over three months between the end of May and September, resulting in 159 minutes of action from nine Premier League games this season.
Andoni Iraola’s side want to let him go out on loan without a purchase option in January. The Cherries’ stance pleases Getafe, who ‘will fight’ to bring him back to the club.
Ünal knows the club and the league and Estadio state he’s open to joining Getafe on a temporary deal.
