As you might have heard, West Ham United are interested in Dan-Axel Zagadou.
The Frenchman is currently a free agent after running down his contract at Borussia Dortmund, and despite still only being 23 years of age, he hasn’t found himself a club as of yet.
His injury record might have something to do with that, but there are a number of clubs, including West Ham, who are considering it.
One of those are AS Roma, and Gazzetta dello Sport give us a bit of information on where the former France U21 international stands with his offers.
They explain the Serie A side like Zagadou, ‘but there are concerns about his physical condition’ despite him being free.
Then West Ham come in, as the ‘competition’ from the Hammers is mentioned, as the Premier League club are ‘ready to offer the French defender quite a few pounds’ to convince him to move to London Stadium.
Following the injury to Nayef Aguerd and Issa Diop edging closer to a move to Fulham, it isn’t surprising to see this, but it remains to be seen if David Moyes’ side do end up going all out for Zagadou or simply look elsewhere.
