The Honduras international’s situation at Celtic Park caused concern and he and was expected to change clubs in the winter market.
On February 1st, Celtic allowed the winger to join Olympiacos on loan until the end of this season.
Fútbol Centroamérica now claim the Greek club have a plan to retain him after the end of his loan spell.
The Celtic man has played 246 minutes from five games for the UEFA Conference League winners, managing a goal and an assist in the process.
Olympiacos manager José Luis Mendilibar is pleased with what Palma has shown so far. The manager is aware he still has room to improve and has told the 25-year-old.
However, Mendilibar is ‘clear’ that Palma’s ‘potential is very huge’ and he has ‘no doubts’ about wanting to retain him beyond this season.
The report states Olympiacos have an option to buy the Celtic owned player for close to €4m. They further add the price is ‘not a problem’ for the Greek club to match.
Palma previously played in Greece with Aris and has represented Celtic in the Champions League. Taking this into account, it’s not surprising that Olympiacos want to buy him in the summer window.
