Tottenham and AS Roma are currently two of the hottest names in the Italian media, with reported talks over Toby Alderweireld and Nicolo Zaniolo taking centre stage.

However, Roma are reportedly ‘intent’ on closing a deal for Alderweireld for less than €20m, and they’re banking on two things to get that done.
Firstly, the Belgium international has already agreed terms with the Serie A side, and secondly, the fact he only has one year left on his contract.They explain all this chatter is likely to take place in a meeting between Tottenham and Franco Baldini, but they don’t say when, exactly.
