Hurriyet claim Galatasaray are set to make a move for Everton attacker Henry Onyekuru and the Turkish club want to finalise a deal by the end of next week.
The youngster spent last season on loan with Gala and was key in the club achieving a domestic double.
According to the Turkish newspaper, Galatasaray officials are concerned a good African Cup of Nations with Nigeria could skyrocket Onyekuru’s value and they are eager to make an offer to Everton to finish the transfer.
It’s reported that Galatasaray are planning to make a €12m bid to Everton for Onyekuru as they are hoping they can sign the 21-year old on a permanent deal rather than a loan again.
Galatasaray officials will travel to England next week to hold talks with Everton, and Sabah say the Turkish side want to get an agreement.
Onyekuru has previously stated he wants to stay at Galatasaray after helping the club to retain their league title with 14 goals.
