Fenerbahçe will start preseason training this weekend, and their manager Aykut Kocaman wants Everton’s Kevin Mirallas to be involved from the start, report Fanatik.

The Turkish newspaper have claimed Kocaman wants Fenerbahçe to sign the Everton attacker because his skill and determination is something which could add to his squad.

Fenerbahçe’s whole basis for believing a transfer is possible would be a hope Mirallas could get edged out at Everton. So far this summer there’s been no Ronald Koeman signing which looks to be a straight Mirallas replacement, and the Belgian will remain confident of his place.

Fanatik says the Turkish giants are currently negotiating with Mirallas and would be looking for a loan agreement with Everton. As often in the Turkish media, the claims all seem overly optimistic on behalf of the Turkish club.

Mirallas, 29 years of age, was a target for Aykut Kocaman when the Belgian international was playing for Olympiacos, but Fenerbahçe lost out to Everton.
