RB Leipzig are leading the Bundesliga table and are four points ahead of second placed Bayern Munich.

Dinamo Zagreb’s Dani Olmo is reportedly edging closer towards joining Leipzig and according to Bild, there is more to come from the German club.

They want to strengthen the defence and have set their sights on Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen.

Julian Nagelsmann has made it clear he doesn’t want his side to sign a young centre-back who would take a couple of months to understand to his training methods.

The Dane spent two seasons at Borussia Mönchengladbach and, therefore, he would settle in quickly if he joins Leipzig. They ‘want’ the 23-year-old and their idea is to take him on loan for the rest of the season.

However, Leipzig will face a problem to sign Christensen because Frank Lampard has no plans to allow him to leave in January.

If Leipzig fail to sign the Blues player, they will launch another attack for him in the summer.

Leipzig will likely have to bring in a replacement for Dayot Upamecano and possibly also for Lukas Klostermann in the next window.
