When there’s a Turin club involved in a transfer saga, local newspaper Tuttosport feels the need to write about it every day, even when there are no updates on the case.
On Thursday, which was the deadline day for incoming transfers in England, they claimed that West Brom would only let Kieran Gibbs go in case they get a replacement.
That meant that Torino’s chances to sign the left-back were decreasing, since West Brom would just have a few hours to sign another player. As they didn’t, the transfer could have collapsed yesterday.
But the rumour isn’t over, as Tuttosport brings it again this Friday. This time, they claim that Torino are still waiting for a position from the Championship club.
However, this time it’s claimed that if West Brom don’t give Torino a response before tonight, then the Italian side will turn their attention to other targets they have on their list.
Now are Tuttosport right this time or they’re just setting another deadline for this transfer to happen? Let’s see if this rumour will fade away or continue in the next few days.
