Watford owned winger Juanfran looks set for a move to Galatasaray, according to claims in the Spanish media. The Spaniard spent last season on loan with Deportivo La Coruna from Watford.
Marca have reported Juanfran has been offered €1m a season to head to Turkey this summer, but the deal now depends on Deportivo making his move permanent from Watford. The 27-year-old has spent the last two seasons on loan with the Spanish side, one on loan from Watford and one from Betis, and they can buy him outright this summer.
However, it’s looking likely they will instantly cash in on Juanfran by selling him to Galatasaray during the next window. Once his transfer from Watford has gone through the player is expected to hold talks with the Turkish giants.
Watford originally agreed a deal to buy Juanfran in 2014, in advance of the 2015 summer window. After Watford made their agreement in 2014, Juanfran then went to Depor on loan from Betis, returned to the Seville club, completed his permanent Watford transfer, and went back on loan to Depor.
