Christian Eriksen has reportedly been drawing attention from the likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, Manchester United and Inter Milan because his contract at Tottenham Hotspur expires in 2020.

‘A gift of the market’ claims Marca on Wednesday and they further talk about Los Blancos’ stance on the Denmark international.

It’s not clear if the former Ajax man would fit at Real Madrid and whether or not Zinedine Zidane would agree to the signing, but the La Liga club’s interest in the 27-year-old is motivated by his contract situation at the north London club.

Marca says Eriksen is an ‘irresistible market opportunity’ for Real Madrid because he will be a free agent next summer.

Eriksen has been on Real Madrid’s orbit for ‘sometime’ and the first time they approached Tottenham for his transfer, the English side asked €250m.

Marca add Eriksen’s ‘situation has given maximum alert to Madrid and, even more so to Tottenham, who runs out of time to renew.’

It’s claimed Real Madrid could consider addressing his signing for a reasonable price in January.

Zidane has never been an admirer of Eriksen and it remains to be seen whether the Frenchman will block the Tottenham player’s potential arrival at Real Madrid, either in January or next summer.
