Norwich City winger Christos Tzolis is about to leave the club for good this summer, according to reports from the Belgian media.

Newspaper Het Nieuwsblad today writes that Club Brugge are ‘on the verge’ of landing the 22-year-old on a permanent deal.

It’s said they had been following the player for many years, and now get to make the signing by paying €6m for the transfer. But that doesn’t mean that money is going to Norwich City.

The story claims that Fortuna Düsseldorf 95, who had Tzolis on loan last season, are triggering the buying option they had over him.

So they’re buying him from Norwich City and immediately selling him to Club Brugge, making a quick profit with it.

Previous reports claimed that Düsseldorf’s buying option was worth €5m, so they’d be making just €1m by selling him for that €6m, in case the report is right.

Either way, this seems like the end of the line for Tzolis, who was signed by Norwich City back in 2021, but never had many chances at the club.
