Fanatik report Everton don’t want to sell Oumar Niasse to Galatasaray despite the Turkish club’s strong interest.

Galatasaray are still actively in the market for a forward with just hours left of the Super Lig transfer window, and Niasse remains one of their options.

However, Fanatik say Everton manager Marco Silva is still insisting he needs Oumar Niasse this season, as first reported earlier this week in the Turkish press.

The Turkish club could now turn to Danish forward Andreas Cornelius, who is currently playing in Serie A with Atalanta.

Niasse is currently providing back up for Cenk Tosun and it’s likely his chances will be limited if he remains at Everton after the transfer window closes.

Despite Silva insisting the player is in his plans for this campaign, Niasse has played just 13 minutes of football in the Merseyside club’s opening three Premier League games.

The Senegalese striker is under contract at Goodison Park until 2020.
