Roma have turned their attention to Fulham midfielder Franck Zambo Anguissa as they look to bolster their midfield this summer.

That’s according to Corriere Dello Sport, who say Fulham are demanding as much as €20m for their man.

The Italian side are keen to improve their midfield this summer and had seemingly set up a deal for Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka, who was the first choice for manager Jose Mourinho.

However, they failed to do a deal with Arsenal for the midfielder, with the two clubs having been very far apart in their valuations of the Switzerland star.

That deal is now dead in the water, so the Serie A side have turned their attention elsewhere.

Corriere say two of the names on their list are Anguissa and Borussia Dortmund’s Thomas Delaney, both of whom are available this summer.

Fulham are asking for €20m for their man while Dortmund would be satisfied with €12m, but any move is likely to be late because Roma are limited in what they can do.

Their market is ‘struggling to get off the ground’, and they need to get rid of players before they can further invest and get the midfielder that Mourinho wants.

It means a move for either Anguissa or Delaney is likely to come later in the window, but the Fulham man is a target nonetheless.
