AC Milan have identified Aston Villa’s Matty Cash as an alternative to Tottenham Hotspur’s Emerson Royal, according to Sky Italia.
The Serie A side are yet to appoint a new manager, but are working on reshaping their squad for next season.
They are keen on strengthening the right-back position, where the Aston Villa player has now emerged as an option, partly because of Tottenham.
It’s claimed the Rossoneri have identified the 25-year-old Brazil international as their main target, and they contacted Spurs to ask about his price tag.
The 26-year-old Poland international has been a regular for Unai Emery’s side in the recently concluded season. His deal lasts until 2027, and the report says Aston Villa are requesting a high price for Cash.
Sky make no mention of any figures, but it’s likely that Aston Villa director Monchi will have a similar response to Tottenham… they won’t be selling players for less than their value.
