Inter Milan are reportedly ready to protect their wonderkid Andrea Pinamonti from Liverpool’s interest.
The striker made his league debut on Sunday, playing ten minutes in Inter’s 2-0 win against Empoli.
Convinced of his talent, the club would now be preparing to work on his transition to the first team squad full time. That would include a professional contract, of course.
According to Corriere Dello Sport, Inter are willing to offer the player a five-year deal. One of the reasons to get this sorted out quickly is the English interest in him. That’s where Corriere mentions Liverpool as the main club.
The 17-year-old made his professional debut in an Europa League match in December, and has been featuring on Inter’s bench ever since. Corriere Dello Sport reckons the club should have the contract sorted before Easter, as the youngster turns 18 in May.
Currently playing for the U-19 squad this season, Pinamonti has 15 goals in 15 appearances, which explains interest from Liverpool and others.
