Leicester City are negotiating a deal with Torino for midfielder Dennis Praet to return on loan next season.
That’s according to journalist Alessandro Baretti, who says Torino manager Ivan Juric is keen on the player joining them for the beginning of pre-season training.
Praet spent last season on loan with the Italian club, establishing himself as a key player under Juric and making 23 appearances in Serie A, scoring two goals and registering two assists.
That loan deal has now come to an end, but Torino remain keen on the 28-year-old and want him as a part of their squad for next season.
Leicester are happy to let the player leave once more but would prefer for him to depart the King Power Stadium on a permanent basis; something Torino cannot or do not want to offer at this moment in time.
They’d instead like to secure another loan deal, and according to Baretti, talks are underway about a deal.
“Juric wants to start again with the Belgian, who is currently back at Leicester,” Tuttosport report him saying.
“And he wants him from the start of the training camp. It is up to the director Vagnati to make the player available.
“The two clubs are trying to agree on a loan with a mandatory buy-back of 10 million.”
