Milan van Ewijk has impressed for Coventry City this season.

The full-back has played 35 times in all competitions and has one goal and an assist to his name.

This is the defender’s second season at the Championship side, who saw him play 42 times in the league during the 2023/24 season.

There’s been growing interest in the 24-year-old and Coventry City had fend off a potential suitor in the winter transfer window.

SoccerNews.nl have reported that AS Roma were keen on signing the Dutchman before they ended up signing Devyne Rensch from Ajax.

A ‘very reliable’ source has told the outlet that the Italian side had come forward to sign Van Ewijk. The move didn’t take off due to Coventry City’s high demands.

The report also states that there has previously been major interest in the right-back. Galatasaray, PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord have looked at the possibility of signing him.

This clearly shows that Van Ewijk’s stock is rising and Coventry City will soon have to be wary of potentially losing him, especially if he keeps impressing.
