Besiktas are currently in advanced talks with Serie A side Bologna for their Chilean midfielder Gary Medel, who was linked with a move to West Ham United this summer.
Sabah claim Besiktas are looking to replace Medel with the Southampton player and talks are reportedly going very well.
It’s reported that after AS Monaco loaned Adrien Silva from Leicester City, Besiktas are the only club that are are showing a ‘real’ interest for the Gabon international and the Saints are looking to loan the player to the Super Lig side for the season.
Besiktas manager Abdullah Avci is said to be a big fan of the central midfielder and he believes signing Lemina could be a turning point in their season.
The former Juventus midfielder has yet to make an appearance this season due to his issues with Ralph Hassenhüttl. Lemina is under contract at St. Mary’s until June 2022.
