Napoli are the latest club to show an interest in Watford’s in-demand striker Luìs Suàrez this summer.
The striker is currently on loan at Real Zaragoza and has been in impressive form, bagging 17 goals to sit second in the LaLiga 2 goalscoring charts.
His form has not gone unnoticed, inside and outside of Spain, with several clubs all keen on luring him away from Vicarage Road.
Napoli have joined the list of admirers, according to Telecaprisport journalist Antonello Gallo, relayed by Arena Napoli, who reports that the Serie A side are ‘on the trail’ of the forward.
The journalist confirms reports that Atlético Madrid are also keen on the forward, while Watford would ‘like him back’ at the club next season.
However, Napoli chief Aurelio De Laurentiis is hoping to use his ‘relationship’ with the Hornets to his advantage to secure a deal ahead of the competition.
Much, though, is likely to depend on whether Watford can stay in the Premier League or not this season.
Earlier reports have indicated they are keen to take Suàrez back next season, but that will be dependant on whether they stay up, and that will likely need to be determined before they’ll sanction a sale also.
