Italian outlet Calcio Mercato brings some interesting information on Juventus’ chase for Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri this weekend.

They say the Old Lady are keen on signing the 25-year-old, and have been in talks with his entourage for a move.

The real intention would be to get Palmieri in the summer, but they would be fine to sign him on a loan deal in January with an obligatory buying clause.

Manager Maurizio Sarri, who worked with the player at the Stamford Bridge, would welcome him with ‘open arms’ in Turin, regardless of which time of the year.

Chelsea are said to be keen on selling both Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso, so Juventus would only need to convince the Blues about the price of the player.

With Palmieri being the number one name in Juve’s list for left-backs, they’re expected to go for his signing with full strength, as they look for an alternative to Alex Sandro.
