Over the past two months or so, we’ve covered claims from Spain that Sevilla are keen on signing Tottenham Hotspur’s Bryan Gil this summer.
On Monday, Tottenham confirmed the 23-year-old and Sergio Reguilón were left out of the travelling squad for the pre-season tour to Asia, to sort out their futures.
This has come as encouragement for the La Liga side and Vamos Mi Sevilla FC share the latest on their plan to sign Gil.
The Spanish club are working to get rid of Adnan Januzaj and Óscar Rodríguez, and their exits would ‘bring closer the arrival’ of the Spurs player.
The winger clocked in 233 minutes from 12 games for Ange Postecoglu’s side last season. He made four appearances this year, of which two of them were in January.
Vamos Mi Sevilla FC’s title says ‘new approach for Bryan Gil’.
Within the report, it’s claimed Sevilla’s offer to bring the Tottenham man back to the club will be a loan with an option to buy, which could be mandatory, if certain set conditions are met. They don’t want the buying option to be more than €6m.
Spurs will have a decision to make on whether to accept this formula, considering other clubs could make an approach for Gil in this window.
