Rangers’ Cyriel Dessers has attracted interest from other clubs, a year after he joined Philippe Clement’s side from Italian side US Cremonese.
The striker finished his debut season at Rangers with 22 goals and nine assists from 54 games in all competitions and this seem to have not gone unnoticed.
That’s at least what TuttoMercatoWeb are reporting, and they state Cagliari are ‘thinking’ about the Rangers star to bolster their squad next season.
That’s all TMW has to be say on this case, without specifying if Dessers is willing to return to Italy or if Cagliari can meet Rangers’ asking price.
The Serie A side have appointed Davide Nicola as their new manager. He was presented to the media on Tuesday, accompanied by the club’s sporting director, Nereo Bonato.
The director stated that there’s a need to make “adjustments” to the squad by bringing in new faces to the club this summer. He didn’t reveal the details of the transfer targets, and the Rangers player would be in Bonato’s list if TMW’s report is to be believed.
