Liverpool striker Divock Origi has emerged as a transfer target for Club Brugge, according to reports.

Vincent Mannaert, the CEO of the Belgium champions told LN24 that his side will look to bring in a new attacker in the winter market.

However, he didn’t provide more details on who could be the new player possibly arriving to the next month.

Three days ago, we covered claims made in Belgium that Club Brugge ‘would love’ to sign Crystal Palace’s Christian Benteke, but the Eagles player has no intention of leaving London in January.

According to Voetbal 24, the Jupiler Pro League side have now shifted their focus to the Reds frontman, who has seen his options limited at the Merseyside club. He has six appearances to his name in all competitions this season.

It’s claimed Club Brugge ‘think’ of signing Jürgen Klopp’s striker and they want to ‘attract’ him to join them in the mid-season window.

However, as per the report, it remains to be seen whether Origi would be open to the idea of joining Club Brugge on a temporary deal.
