There’s a claim in the Turkish media, Besiktas are showing an interest in Crystal Palace defender Rob Holding.
The central defender only signed for Crystal Palace from Arsenal last summer but failed to get games for the Eagles.
Takvim have reported on Besiktas’ pursuit of Holding as they look to strengthen their defence ahead of next season. They say the Super Lig are in transfer talks with Crystal Palace as they look to get a loan deal for him.
It’s claimed they have got an agreement with the 28-year-old over a move to Turkey, but theyare still waiting for the Premier League side to give the nod. According to Takvim, the Istanbul side had tried to sign Holding during the last transfer window.
Holding joined Crystal Palace 12 months ago in order to get more playing time, but this hasn’t been the case since his arrival at Selhurst Park.
The former Bolton Wanderers player made no appearances in the Premier League and was only once part of their match day squad.
He’s contracted to the south London club until June 2026.
