According to an exclusive report from Turkish website Asist Analiz, Trabzonspor have identified Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher as a target ahead of the summer transfer window.
The English midfielder is currently on loan at Championship side Swansea City after his impressive spell at Charlton during the first half of the season.
Asist Analiz claim Trabzonspor are looking to sign him in the summer on a temporary basis with Badou Ndiaye set to return to Stoke City.
Karadeniz Firtinasi are also looking for a replacement for John Obi Mikel, who left the club after terminating his contract due to the Covid-19 crisis.
Trabzonspor’s priority is to bring in a couple of midfielders say Asist Analiz, with Stoke City loanee Badou Ndiaye unlikely to be with the Super Lig side next season.
Talks to bring Gallagher to Trabzon have reportedly started and the club’s manager Huseyin Cimsir has also given the green light to get the Chelsea youngster.
After appointing former Chelsea coach Eddie Newton as an assistant manager, the Turkish club have been linked with others Chelsea youngsters such as Ethan Ampadu.
Gallagher has made 10 appearances in the Championship this season for Swansea City, and has provided five goals. The youngster also played 26 games for Charlton, scoring six goals. His contract with Chelsea will expire at the end of June 2022.
