TRT Spor’s Ersin Duzen has claimed on the TV show Stadyum Galatasaray are in talks with Chelsea to sign Michy Batshuayi.
The Belgian striker could leave Valencia after joining the Spanish club on loan in the summer, and he’s also been linked with a move to Super Lig club Fenerbahce.
Duzen said, as covered by Fotospor, that Galatasaray have made first contact with Chelsea and are hopeful of getting the player.
It’s been well documented in the Turkish press that the Istanbul club are in the market for a new forward to boost their title chances and the Chelsea outcast has emerged as a target.
The 26 year old has failed to replicate the form he showed whilst on loan last season with Borussia Dortmund, which could cut short his time at Valencia.
Galatasaray have also been linked with other Premier League strikers including West Ham United’s Andy Carroll and Everton’s Oumar Niasse.
