The Turkish website says Manu is one of Antalyaspor’s summer targets, and talks are underway with the Brighton player’s agent.
Antalyaspor were 5th in the league last season, which was their best ever finish in the Turkish top flight. The club confirmed the signing of Jeremy Menez last week and according to reports in the Turkish press they are in advanced negotiations for Iker Casillas.
Manu spent the second half of the season on loan at Go Ahead Eagles from Brighton, and he was controversially sacked by the Dutch club after he showed his love for Feyenoord before Eagles’ 4-0 defeat against Ajax.
Manu was accused of ‘unprofessional conduct’, and the failed loan won’t have improved his chances of playing for Brighton boss Chris Hughton in the next campaign.
The 23 year old joined Brighton from Feyenoord for an undisclosed fee, but he’s been unable to make an impact during his spell at the club.
