Inter Milan’s chase for Arsenal forward Folarin Balogun now gets an update from Alfredo Pedulla.
On his website, the Italian journalist features an ‘exclusive’ story claiming the Nerazzurri see the player as the ‘perfect investment’.
Arsenal’s demand to sell Balogun is said to be over €40m including bonuses. Inter Milan, meanwhile, work with intermediaries to bring that figure down.
The good news for the Nerazzurri is that the player is willing to make the move, and is ‘acting under the radar’ for that.
Even though it’s usual to see Italian clubs trying to find loan deals with buying options, this isn’t the case this time.
That’s because Inter Milan are ready to spend the money they were set to pay to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea. With that option now gone, they turn their attention to Balogun.
The Nerazzurri have other names on their list, but the Arsenal player is the first, and they’re now set to ‘continue to work’ for a deal with the Gunners.
All they seem to want now is a little discount on what the London side have been asking.
