With a contract expiring at the end of the season, Chelsea’s N’Golo Kanté is likely to be one of the more in demand players next summer, as he could be attainable on a free.

Despite everything he has done for the club in the past, the Blues don’t seem overly interested in extending his current contract, with the 31-year-old potentially given a chance to try out another league before the end of his career.

Injuries have made his current season with Chelsea rather complicated, and the player will now miss the World Cup, and he isn’t expected to return until next year.

That leaves him little time to impress any potential transfer candidates, if he even has to, as Juventus are already following him very closely.

This comes from French journalist Ignazio Genuardi, who took to Twitter to report that the Serie A side have a ‘pronounced interest’ in the Chelsea player, and are taking a ‘as much information as possible’ regarding the midfielder.

Since arriving at Stamford Bridge in 2016 from Leicester City, Kanté has made 262 appearances for the London side, scoring 13 goals and assisting another 15, as well as helping them win the Premier League and the Champions League
