Besiktas are interested in signing Stoke City defender Bruno Martins Indi, according to Turkish TV Channel TRT Spor.
The Istanbul club are in the market for a left sided central defender this summer and their new manager Abdullah Avci believes signing Martins Indi would benefit them next season.
During the last window they lost their senior central defender Pepe after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract.
According to TRT Spor, Besiktas have submitted a loan offer with an option to buy, and he’s said to be eager to leave Stoke City before next month’s transfer deadline.
It’s reported Beskitas have also offered €1.5m to the player, and the club’s sporting director Ali Naibi is in talks with him.
TRT Spor say Stoke would prefer a permanent transfer and they want €10m for the 27 year old. However, the Super Lig side are confident that they can land the Dutchman on a loan deal.
Martins Indi made 41 appearances for the Championship club in all competitions last season and is under contract until June 2022.
