As West Ham midfielder Felipe Anderson is returning from a loan spell at Porto this summer, it seems he could already have a new destination on the way.
According to reports from Turkey today, it’s now Galatasaray who would like to sign the Brazilian player for the next season.
A report from Sabah points out the Istanbul side are losing a few players in his position this summer, and they now have Felipe Anderson on a list to replace them.
His signing is inspired on the loan of Rachid Ghezzal, who left Leicester City for Besiktas last summer and has been doing very well in Turkey this season.
It’s said Galatasaray have learned that West Ham have no plans for Felipe Anderson in their squad going forward, so the Turkish side started acting for his arrival.
Sabah doesn’t make it clear if that would be a loan or a permanent transfer.
All they say is that the midfielder has one year of contract left with the Hammers, and since he makes £80k/week, the London side could let him go with no fee just so they could avoid paying for his salary.
