Miralem Pjanić’s future at Juventus remains uncertain.
If he decides to leave in the summer, Chelsea’s Jorginho is viewed as a potential candidate to replace the Bosnia and Herzegovina international.
This is according to Calciomercato, who state Pjanić is no longer viewed as non-transferable at the Turin club and could be used as a part of a deal to sign another player.
Jorginho played under Maurizio Sarri at Napoli and Stamford Bridge. According to the report, the Brazil-born Italy international remains the ‘first choice’ target for his former manager at Juventus.
The Old Lady are also looking at Jorginho’s Chelsea teammate Emerson Palmieri and the website adds the Serie A winners are ‘studying the strategy’ for a double hit on the duo.
The two players been regularly linked with a move away from the Blues and it’s claimed the midfielder and fullback are ‘not considered as non-transferable’ by Frank Lampard’s side.
Juve may face a tough task in signing Jorginho because his agent Joao Santos this week said his client could start contract talks with Chelsea in July.
