AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspur continue in talks for the transfer of Japhet Tanganga, according to reports from Italy.
Journalist Rudy Galetti claims to have it ‘confirmed’ that the Rossoneri and Spurs are ‘still working’ on the 23-year-old’s transfer.
It’s claimed that Tottenham now ‘seem willing to open’ to a loan deal with an option to buy.
Tanganga would move to Milan on a temporary move, and the Serie A giants would have a buying option worth around €23m.
Galetti points out that possibility as previously reported by Calciomercato, and appears to be backing up that information.
Either way, the journalist writes that there are ‘positive’ feelings about the negotiation.
A week ago, he had already claimed that Milan were waiting for the green light from Tottenham before working to convince the player of completing the switch.
Earlier reports suggested that a deal between the two clubs had stalled, but the latest here seems to make it clear Milan are edging closer to landing the defender at this stage.
