With nine goals in 14 Ligue 1 appearances, Moise Kean has taken to French football like a duck to water.

The Everton loanee, sent to Paris Saint-Germain to get his career back on track after a disappointing first campaign at Goodison Park, is now one of the most efficient strikers in the league, and that’s made the current champions think.

Only on a dry loan without an option to buy, the 20-year-old has been a great alternative to Mauro Icardi, but there’s already been a lot of chatter of the French side wanting to keep him.

This continues this week with France Football, who label as one of the ‘top’ transfers of the Ligue 1 season so far, having managed to relaunch himself in the capital.

Now ‘clearly in competition’ for the starting role with the aforementioned Argentine, it’s added that Paris Saint-Germain are ‘thinking about keeping him next year’.

Whether that would be via another loan or a direct transfer remains to be seen, but with a successful season under his belt, Everton will certainly be asking for the original £25m they gave Juventus for him, and perhaps even more considering his Goodison Park contract expires all the way in 2024.
