After missing most of the season with a foot injury, Fanatik report Fenerbahce will still want to loan Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen for another season.

There have been reports in the Turkish press Fenerbahce didn’t want to renew the player on loan because of his injury problems, but according to Fanatik they could still look to do a deal with Tottenham.

The Turkish newspaper reports Fenerbahce staff have been left impressed with Janssen’s work ethic and professionalism whilst sidelined, and subsequently they will try to secure him for another season.

However, Fenerbahce want to solve the issue before the start of preseason, and their manager Aykut Kocaman reportedly wants Janssen in his training camp from the start rather than joining them later in the window.

Fanatik said Fenerbahce will make it clear to Tottenham they want Janssen before preseason and will reportedly inform Tottenham: “If you give your choice about Janssen early, he’ll adapt easily to our team. We haven’t played him for 3 months, we want you to loan him to us again.”

With the Netherlands failing to qualify for this summer’s Wold Cup it gives the Tottenham forward a chance to regain his fitness, and possibly join the Turkish giants for another season.
