Sabah claim Besiktas still haven’t managed to convince West Bromwich Albion regarding a loan deal for Nacer Chadli and a move is currently up in the air.
The Turkish club are working hard to secure the signature of Chadli, but Sabah say West Brom are still demanding a €3m loan fee from Besiktas for their Belgian international.
According to Sabah, Besiktas have already agreed personal terms with Chadli but they need funds to complete the deal. Subsequently they need to sell Domagoj Vida in the coming days, with a number of Premier League clubs linked with the Croatian.
It’s reported Besiktas are seeking help from prominent Turkish football agent Ahmet Bulut to broker a move for Vida, and Besiktas president Fikret Orman will also fly to England to finalise a deal for the player.
Following West Brom’s relegation to the Championship last season the Belgian international is looking to move on in this transfer window.
The player impressed during the World Cup this summer, but no Premier League clubs have come forward to sign him.
