Crysencio Summerville impressed for Leeds United last season, managing 21 goals and 10 assists from 49 games. This wasn’t enough to secure a promotion to the Premier League, but it has attracted interest from elsewhere.
Last Wednesday, L’Equipe reported Stade Rennais have held talks with the Championship side over a possible deal for the winger this summer.
According to Calciomercato, AS Roma have become the latest club to have shown interest in the Leeds star.
It’s claimed the Serie A side like the 22-year-old, and have ‘started contacts’ with Daniel Farke’s side over signing him.
The Dutchman has two years left on his deal and the report claims Leeds are asking for around €20-25m to sanction his sale in this window.
As well as Summerville, Roma are keen to sign Juventus’ Matias Soulé, who was on loan at Frosinone last season. The money needed to sign the Leeds player is lower than the fee requested by the Turin club for the 21-year-old Argentine.
Summerville mainly operates on the left wing, while Soulé is on the right wing. It’s possible for Roma to sign both, but as of now they have only obtained information about the Leeds man.
