According to a claim in the Turkish media, Besiktas are interested in signing Everton forward Ademola Lookman in this transfer window.

The Istanbul club have already been linked with his Everton teammate Nikola Vlašić after reports they are in talks to sign the Croatia international.

Fanatik have reported on a claim from Turkish TV station TRT Sports that Besiktas have ‘started attempts’ to sign Lookman. It’s claimed the Turkish side’s transfer committee have discussed bringing in the 21 year old, and their manager Abdullah Avci would be open to working with the player.

According to the Turkish press, Besiktas have already held talks with Lookman’s agent and they are looking to loan the attacker from Everton. The Super Lig side are hoping to get a deal done quickly so that he will be with the club when preseason training commences.

Lookman made 21 Premier League appearances last season and is contracted to the Merseyside club until June 2021.
