Given two starts against Alanyaspor and Manchester United, Tottenham loanee Tanguy Ndombele doesn’t appear to have covered himself in glory.
The midfielder played a combined 150 minutes in those two games, but quickly made his way back to the bench at the weekend as his team beat Pendikspor 2-0.
The Tottenham man was called upon after Hakim Ziyech’s goal, but was on the pitch for just seven minutes, as his situation is covered by Milliyet on Monday.
They explain a decision has been made at the club, which is that the loan players ‘who can’t deliver the expected results’ will be potentially sent away in January.
Those two are Ndombele, on loan from Tottenham, and Angeliño, in a similar situation but from RB Leipzig, and Galatasaray have decided ‘not to utilise’ the options to buy in both deals.
Not only that, but it’s stated that the technical staff ‘had a negative opinion’ of both footballers, with the scouting team ordered to go away and find replacements for the two ahead of the January transfer window.
To date, Ndombele has made a grand total of 10 appearances in all competitions on his loan from Tottenham spread over 280 minutes, meaning an average of just 28 minutes per game.
